OUR PASTOR
Pastor David Larry Jackson is a 20th century Minister of Jesus Christ. With a spirit of humility he is known for his spirit led messages ranging from a level of simplicity that transcend all barriers of race, gender, age and walks of life for all people.
Pastor Jackson humbly serves God and his community through the ministries he has established at Holy Tabernacle of Christ (HTC). These ministries have a positive and direct impact on wellness, education, and family life as they address the needs of the community.
Pastor Jackson has been married to his lovely wife, First Lady Wanda Joyce Jackson for over 30 years, and reside in Grand Prairie, TX.
Pastor Jackson is the son of Mr. David Leon Jackson and Mrs. Clarine Jackson. He attended Paul Quinn College in Waco, TX where he received a Bachelors Degree in Biology. After graduating from Paul Quinn College, Pastor Jackson served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force. In 1991 while working for Vought Aerospace he was called into the ministry. He would later retire at Lockheed Martin in 2014 to continue his work in the ministry.

The family of Holy Tabernacle of Christ believes the purpose of the church's existence is to meet the spiritual, emotional, and social needs of people. We believe you'll find passionate worship of God coupled with loving compassion for people. We are a caring body of believers that is oriented with a global vision. The ministry philosophy we incorporate is a blend of genuine heartfelt worship, sound biblical instruction, and individual and corporate followship.
Every program and outreach is designed to accomplish one of three goals: introduce people to Jesus Christ, mature people in their walk with Christ; and motivate people to show their love for Christ to others.
We, are a Bible-based ministry that promotes wholesome Godly lifestyles and sincere worship. Worship music and dynamic preaching is a vital part of our presentation. We believe and teach the doctrines of Christ as exampled by the Apostles. All people are the focus of our ministry introducing them to a vital relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
